About Me
About B. Marwo
I write about the messy, meaningful work of figuring life out - especially the parts nobody warns you about.
My books grow out of ground I’ve walked myself: navigating elder care in Family Care: Navigating Elder Care with Compassion and Wisdom; finding my footing after a long career gap in State of the Union: Working At It; and reflecting on simplicity, independence, and finding your way through midlife in Time and Tide and Finding My Way (Around Midlife).
Whatever the subject, my aim is the same: to offer practical guidance, honest reflection, and a little encouragement for the journey - so you feel equipped to thrive, not simply survive.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me in the garden, where some of my best thinking happens. I’ve published nonfiction books on Amazon, and I’m currently building a collection of personal essays about life, work, family, caregiving, and the unexpected turns that come with growing older.
If any of this sounds a little like your own life right now - whether you’re job-searching in midlife, caring for someone you love, starting over, or simply trying to find your way - I’d love for you to stick around.
